JARED SORENSEN

Jared and Selena have been married for 27 years and are the parents of nine children and one grandchild.

They are 3rd generation ranchers, managing the operation Jared’s grandfather and father built in Secret Pass and Clover Valley, Nevada. Jared is a life-long learner and has been applying and teaching principles of holistic management, soil regeneration, and personal development.

Jared has mentored many young people seeking to get a start in agriculture. The Sorensens raise and market grass-fed beef, teach onsite and virtual classes and offer internships on the ranch.

Roger Ingram

Growing up around livestock, Cal Hardage knew what he wanted to do. He went to college and obtained a BS in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University, then returned to the family dairy. But plans changed. Shortly after returning home, the dairy was sold, and he returned to school to get an education degree. While spending 22+ years in education, he did not forget his passion and continued to help with beef cattle, then starting his own herd of meat goats, hair sheep and beef cattle. In 2020, Cal started the Grazing Grass podcast, which features grass-based livestock farmers and ranchers who use regenerative practices on weekly episodes.
