Ryan and Abbey Bruski
Ryan and Abbey Bruski are 3rd-generation ranchers living in Ekalaka, Montana. They have been practicing regenerative agriculture for over a decade and have made tremendous progress with their soil health and grazing management strategies. They sold their cow herd in the fall of 2023 and are now focused on custom grazing and stocker enterprise mixes. They have great mentors who have helped guide them along this process. Ryan and Abbey are constantly striving to learn and be better every day.
Ryan and Abbey have made tremendous strides in succession planning with Ryan's parents, Joe and Sonja. Joe and Sonja have been extremely supportive in this process and have turned the operating business over to Ryan and Abbey. Joe works alongside Ryan and Abbey in the day-to-day work as well as major business decisions, serving as a senior advisor on their board. Pretty awesome—Joe is 61 years old and retired, getting to do what he loves every day.
Ryan and Abbey have three young children and are very intentional with the decisions they make for their business to ensure success for future generations
